Spectators: 7996 (Terracing: 5998, Seating: 1839, VIP seats: 159) alcones dorados's Isidoro Pedronera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Vladimiro Presedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heredia FC and the alcones dorados players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Vladimiro Presedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Pedronera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Pedronera in the 8th minute of play forced Heredia FC's goalkeeper Christiano Basurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Isidoro Pedronera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Basurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christiano Basurto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Pedronera in the 17th minute of play. alcones dorados's Chorache Cabrera got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christiano Basurto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chorache Cabrera in the 20th minute of the match. Christiano Basurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chorache Cabrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frasco Casados hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Christiano Basurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Pedronera, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Christiano Basurto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Pedronera in the 35th minute of play. Heredia FC's Christiano Basurto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chorache Cabrera in the 37th minute of play. If Chorache Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Pedronera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Amador Gobantes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Pedronera in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christiano Basurto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chorache Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christiano Basurto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Heredia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidoro Pedronera fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Christiano Basurto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chorache Cabrera in the 66th minute. Heredia FC's Christiano Basurto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Heredia FC from getting a goal against them. Christiano Basurto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Pedronera in the 68th minute of the match. Isidoro Pedronera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Christiano Basurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Isidoro Pedronera came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the alcones dorados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Pedronera couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Pedronera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Christiano Basurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chorache Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Pedronera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Heredia FC's zone, Chorache Cabrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christiano Basurto came out of the goal and Chorache Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Chorache Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. alcones dorados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chorache Cabrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Pedronera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christiano Basurto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Heredia FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
