Barebare's Zarando Santibañez got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hustaz Nestares's late challenge caught a Garza Blanca F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hustaz Nestares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Hustaz Nestares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Norino Pando notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Barebare's Cristos Ciencabrero. Cristos Ciencabrero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mino Lucio succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Marcos Mori hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Garza Blanca F.C.'s Norino Pando got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25thth minute of the game Mino Lucio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barebare's Cristos Ciencabrero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Zarando Santibañez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garza Blanca F.C.'s Hondo Cortez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute Uriel Sabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hondo Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Indo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristos Ciencabrero having to interfere. A collision led to Barebare getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jaizki Sesmilo hit a great ball. Cristos Ciencabrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Lucio in the 36th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Uriel Sabon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zarando Santibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hondo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zarando Santibañez might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hondo Cortez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zarando Santibañez ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mino Lucio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Barebare booed when Garza Blanca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Indo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zarando Santibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uriel Sabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hondo Cortez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Norino Pando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orkatz Bacete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristos Ciencabrero. Barebare's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 76 played minutes Barebare got a freekick which was hit by Eguerdi Urquiola. Xaver Libran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristos Ciencabrero having to make a save.
