Eztebe Amador's late challenge caught a alcones dorados's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eztebe Amador helped the player get up and apologised. Pepe Arnuero went to the wrong direction when Marin Mariño was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 14th minute, Arias Pendones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 played minutes Punzon got a freekick which was hit by Arias Pendones. After 19 played minutes Punzon got a freekick which was hit by Eztebe Amador. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punzon's goalkeeper Pepe Arnuero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 21 minutes, Rogelio Baez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the alcones dorados and the Punzon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rogelio Baez was shown his second yellow card after 25 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 26th minute, Rogelio Baez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arias Pendones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Puzio having to make a save. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Punzon's goalkeeper Pepe Arnuero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pepe Arnuero made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Chorache Cabrera sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the game, Montrel Dorado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punzon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave alcones dorados the free kick. In the 36th minute, Montrel Dorado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Txomin Bodon fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Punzon's protests and gave Txomin Bodon a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Punzon got a freekick which was hit by Txomin Bodon. Pepe Arnuero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Colon in the 39th minute of the match. Chorache Cabrera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Pepe Arnuero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Punzon's Arias Pendones got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chorache Cabrera made a kick off. Eugenio Barrial hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Punzon's zone, Chorache Cabrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Arnuero came out of the goal and Chorache Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chorache Cabrera in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Arnuero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Pedronera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Punzon's Txomin Bodon got a free kick in the 66th minute. Marin Mariño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Chorache Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. alcones dorados's supporters rose to their feet, but Chorache Cabrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepe Arnuero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chorache Cabrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Arnuero having to interfere. Pepe Arnuero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chorache Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Chap Ojesto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Chorache Cabrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Isidoro Pedronera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Arnuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chorache Cabrera in the 80th minute of play forced Punzon's goalkeeper Pepe Arnuero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Chorache Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. alcones dorados's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chorache Cabrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Txanton Añel struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pepe Arnuero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for alcones dorados. Chorache Cabrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pepe Arnuero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chorache Cabrera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punzon's goalkeeper Pepe Arnuero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Isidoro Pedronera came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the alcones dorados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Pedronera couldn't finish the play. Chorache Cabrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pepe Arnuero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Anaya Jaquinot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 92nd minute of the match Txomin Bodon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Txomin Bodon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 92nd minute, one of Punzon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Punzon. 97 minutes into the game, alcones dorados's Isidoro Pedronera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pepe Arnuero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. alcones dorados walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
