Frasco Casados hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Txomin Bodon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Heredia FC's Christiano Basurto didn't even have to move. In the 27th minute Etxepare Amieva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Basurto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Heredia FC's Luix Bailina in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punzon's goalie prevented a goal. Sebastiano Castellvi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Pepe Arnuero made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Etxepare Amieva was the one to do the kick off. Christiano Basurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tulio Ojero, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sebastiano Castellvi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pepe Arnuero having to interfere. Etxepare Amieva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christiano Basurto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After 60 played minutes Heredia FC got a freekick which was hit by Frasco Casados. After a rather tough play, Heredia FC's Amador Gobantes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Heredia FC's Luix Bailina got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sebastiano Castellvi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Heredia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastiano Castellvi couldn't finish the play. If Sebastiano Castellvi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Luix Bailina notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Punzon's Pepe Arnuero. Pepe Arnuero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
