Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) Curigua FC's Gutierre Cerrillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Petrol Latinoamérica's Nicolas Parra got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Nicolas Parra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrol Latinoamérica's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Parra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xalbador Hermo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute of the match Rafe Lombera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xalbador Hermo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Calisto Uruñuela took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xalbador Hermo. Xalbador Hermo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Calisto Uruñuela came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Petrol Latinoamérica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calisto Uruñuela couldn't finish the play. Xalbador Hermo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calisto Uruñuela's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Nicolas Parra took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xalbador Hermo. Xalbador Hermo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Xalbador Hermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Uruñuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Nicolas Parra made a precise shot to the right of Xalbador Hermo. Curigua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Damaso Mañes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrol Latinoamérica's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Mañes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xalbador Hermo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the match, Artur Pala notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Petrol Latinoamérica's Cordarryl Peralta. Cordarryl Peralta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xalbador Hermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Mañes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calisto Uruñuela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Xalbador Hermo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curigua FC's Xalbador Hermo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Parra in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Petrol Latinoamérica's Damaso Mañes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xalbador Hermo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After the first half Petrol Latinoamérica were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Calisto Uruñuela did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Xalbador Hermo 52 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benat Borniquell during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roberto Cañedo, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Xalbador Hermo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calisto Uruñuela in the 61st minute of play. Calisto Uruñuela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xalbador Hermo stood somewhat misplaced when Calisto Uruñuela came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 70 minute. 75 minutes into the match, Curigua FC's goalkeeper Xalbador Hermo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Parra. Gauargi Ricote hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Maria Avila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xalbador Hermo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Parra in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes of play, Petrol Latinoamérica's Calisto Uruñuela made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xalbador Hermo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Calisto Uruñuela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Calisto Uruñuela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Hermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Petrol Latinoamérica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Curigua FC throughout the match.
