Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gutierre Cerrillo started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Curigua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurino Anduaga came free, but Xalbador Hermo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xalbador Hermo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frechoso Herrea in the 10th minute of play. Xalbador Hermo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurino Anduaga went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Artur Pala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Villalba having to interfere. If Maurino Anduaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frechoso Herrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Xalbador Hermo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Maurino Anduaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xalbador Hermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurino Anduaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Curigua FC's Xalbador Hermo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frechoso Herrea in the 43rd minute of play. Xalbador Hermo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frechoso Herrea went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maurino Anduaga to make the kick off. Artur Pala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Villalba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frechoso Herrea got free with Xalbador Hermo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Artur Pala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curigua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Pala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Villalba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Maurino Anduaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sorosopan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurino Anduaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Curigua FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gutierre Cerrillo hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Maurino Anduaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Hermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gutierre Cerrillo scored 1-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Villalba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Matthew Udaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xalbador Hermo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Frechoso Herrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Maurino Anduaga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xalbador Hermo. The goal made the score 1-4. Sorosopan FC's Frechoso Herrea got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Sorosopan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curigua FC.
