But to his dismay, Ricardo Roelas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the game, Ricardo Roelas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Atilano Corias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, Nationaler FC's Ilixo Yaner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Corias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Atilano Corias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Roelas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Nationaler FC's Pepe Gota nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Corias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some careless play in the El Magdonal defense, Pepe Gota kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Corias. The El Magdonal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Corias should have stopped the shot. After 36 minutes of play, El Magdonal's Donzel Rius made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deunoro Cabañas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nationaler FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after El Magdonal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Belmiro Rebustillo took the corner. 43 minutes into the match, Benino Achueta notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of El Magdonal's Atilano Corias. Atilano Corias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Ricardo Roelas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nationaler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Disappointed in the 1-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Pepe Gota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Atilano Corias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Gota in the 57th minute of the match. Pepe Gota had several of the El Magdonal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-9 score and a disappointed Atilano Corias as he didn't even see the shot coming. Atilano Corias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanduru Tordesillas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nationaler FC's Deunoro Cabañas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donzel Rius in the 73rd minute of play. Artur Zahemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nationaler FC's Misael Carmona was substituted for Renato Lizano. In the 82nd minute, Ricardo Roelas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nationaler FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. Nationaler FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
