Canor Feruel hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Omar Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Gauargi Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrer Llacin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Meleon in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Nacional f.c got a freekick which was hit by Omar Mendez. If Froylan Colomo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferrer Llacin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafe Oñez in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute Roland Meleon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrer Llacin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferrer Llacin came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Cristóbal's Roland Meleon. But to his dismay, Roland Meleon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Omar Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldir Pujana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gauargi Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Nacional f.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo San Cristóbal were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Mendez was the one to do the kick off. Ferrer Llacin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Froylan Colomo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Omar Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nacional f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo San Cristóbal the free kick. Deportivo San Cristóbal played a much better game than Nacional f.c and deserved their victory. The Nacional f.c players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
