Gomez Sarra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gomez Sarra in the 22nd minute of play forced El Magdonal's goalkeeper Atilano Corias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentin Valles kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, El Magdonal's goal looked a bit too open when Gomez Sarra came free, but Atilano Corias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Corias didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. When Cipriano Brito fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universidad Caracas's protests and gave Cipriano Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Cipriano Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. El Magdonal's Valentin Valles got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gomez Sarra was the one to do the kick off. Xorxe Escola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Atilano Corias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Universidad Caracas's Nastasio Fontanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donzel Rius in the 59th minute of play. Nastasio Fontanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donzel Rius in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, one of El Magdonal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gomez Sarra shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Chago Calero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Corias having to interfere. Valentin Valles came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nastasio Fontanez could save by the left post. 77 minutes into the match, Universidad Caracas's goal looked a bit too open when Teyo Requena came free, but Nastasio Fontanez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nastasio Fontanez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teyo Requena in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Universidad Caracas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cipriano Brito hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Universidad Caracas's zone, Valentin Valles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nastasio Fontanez came out of the goal and Valentin Valles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nastasio Fontanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donzel Rius in the 86th minute of play. If Gomez Sarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Universidad Caracas's Xorxe Escola got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. El Magdonal's Teyo Requena got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute, Donzel Rius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Magdonal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Universidad Caracas fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Magdonal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
