But to his dismay, Loco Guiles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, Castel Escamilla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zorion Cepeda. Zulia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Castel Escamilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Loco Guiles might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zorion Cepeda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loco Guiles ran back to his position shaking his head. Zorion Cepeda was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Castel Escamilla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Castel Escamilla really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Gomez Guion hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Castel Escamilla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. When Castel Escamilla fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avileños F.C.'s protests and gave Castel Escamilla a yellow card for diving instead. Castel Escamilla hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Castel Escamilla to make the kick off. Ladio Montenegro took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zorion Cepeda. Zorion Cepeda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Zulia FC's Hipolito Castrillo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Zulia FC's Llorienzo Diez got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes of play, Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zorion Cepeda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Castel Escamilla hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Zulia FC defense, Castel Escamilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zorion Cepeda. The Zulia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zorion Cepeda should have stopped the shot. When Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Avileños F.C.. Hipolito Castrillo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hipolito Castrillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zulia FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Zorion Cepeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Monterrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 86 minutes of play Zulia FC's Llorienzo Diez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 87 played minutes Zulia FC got a freekick which was hit by Llorienzo Diez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladio Montenegro in the 88th minute of play forced Zulia FC's goalkeeper Zorion Cepeda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iago Munibe lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 93rd minute, one of Zulia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zulia FC. Zulia FC:s Zorion Cepeda showed great skill when he stopped Mingo Povia:s penalty. Loco Guiles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Avileños F.C. were the better team. Avileños F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
