In the 31stth minute of the game Ceandro Aguirol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo San Cristóbal's Gauargi Astudillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute, Hurko Ageitos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legión Vinotinto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Roland Meleon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Oropesa having to interfere. Legión Vinotinto FC's Polo Oropesa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Meleon in the 58th minute of play. Gauargi Astudillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceandro Aguirol in the 63rd minute. Hurko Ageitos's late challenge caught a Deportivo San Cristóbal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hurko Ageitos helped the player get up and apologised. Erauso Mazarredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Roland Meleon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Polo Oropesa. Legión Vinotinto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Meleon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mambru Legorburu during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mambru Legorburu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Hurko Ageitos came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Legión Vinotinto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hurko Ageitos couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froylan Colomo in the 86th minute of play forced Legión Vinotinto FC's goalkeeper Polo Oropesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Polo Oropesa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Meleon, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Erauso Mazarredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Oropesa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Meleon in the 95th minute of play forced Legión Vinotinto FC's goalkeeper Polo Oropesa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo San Cristóbal had played much better football throughout.
