Joel Quiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladio Montenegro in the 18th minute of the match. The corner led Avileños F.C.'s Alessandro Monterrey to a score. 0-3 in the 20th minute. After having played for 35 minutes, Loco Guiles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avileños F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Guiles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Castel Escamilla sped through Venezolanos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joel Quiros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castel Escamilla in the 41st minute of play forced Venezolanos FC's goalkeeper Joel Quiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Venezolanos FC defense, Castel Escamilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joel Quiros. The Venezolanos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Quiros should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Melquiades Felix made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Castel Escamilla made a precise shot to the right of Joel Quiros. Venezolanos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. If Castel Escamilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match Avileños F.C. got a corner. Venezolanos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mingo Povia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Loco Guiles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezolanos FC's Joel Quiros did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Venezolanos FC's zone, Stewart Digiuseppe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Quiros came out of the goal and Stewart Digiuseppe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes of play, Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Quiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Herrador's late challenge caught a Avileños F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Herrador helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Avileños F.C. booed when Venezolanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Herrador didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Quiros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Castel Escamilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Joel Quiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Zarandona kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
