The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricardo Roelas might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Polo Oropesa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Roelas ran back to his position shaking his head. 4 minutes into the match, Legión Vinotinto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pepe Gota came free, but Polo Oropesa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Nationaler FC's goalkeeper Deunoro Cabañas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceandro Aguirol. If Pepe Gota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benino Achueta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Oropesa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Polo Oropesa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Roelas went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ricardo Roelas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Polo Oropesa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polo Oropesa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Ricardo Roelas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nationaler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Roelas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Polo Oropesa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benino Achueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. In the 39th minute, Belmiro Rebustillo made a precise shot to the right of Polo Oropesa. Legión Vinotinto FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ricardo Roelas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sanduru Tordesillas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Oropesa having to interfere. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legión Vinotinto FC's goalkeeper Polo Oropesa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Polo Oropesa made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Ricardo Roelas sent off a good shot on target. Nationaler FC made a substitution. Artur Zahemski replaced Pepe Gota. In the 58th minute of the match Nationaler FC got a corner. Legión Vinotinto FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Belmiro Rebustillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Benino Achueta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The crowd rose to their feet as Nationaler FC's Ilixo Yaner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Polo Oropesa. That made the score 0-6 after 60 minutes of play. Polo Oropesa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilixo Yaner in the 63rd minute of the match. Ilixo Yaner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Polo Oropesa came out and tried to block the shot, but Ilixo Yaner slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 65th minute. Polo Oropesa came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Nationaler FC's Benino Achueta. But to his dismay, Benino Achueta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Ilixo Yaner scored 0-9 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Polo Oropesa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd match minute, Legión Vinotinto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bibiano Joli to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Roelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Oropesa having to interfere. Polo Oropesa was a little too slow when Ricardo Roelas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-10. Benino Achueta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Oropesa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Ricardo Roelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Zahemski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nationaler FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
