Legión Vinotinto FC's Polo Oropesa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordi Maeztu in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo San Cristóbal's Mambru Legorburu got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Musko Caracedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Gipuzkoa Envito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gauargi Astudillo skillfully saved the ball. Erauso Mazarredo scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Polo Oropesa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Polo Oropesa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordi Maeztu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Erauso Mazarredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jordi Maeztu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Legión Vinotinto FC defense, Jordi Maeztu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Polo Oropesa. The Legión Vinotinto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Polo Oropesa should have stopped the shot. Erauso Mazarredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Legión Vinotinto FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo San Cristóbal were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hurko Ageitos to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Legión Vinotinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Hurko Ageitos. Rafe Oñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Legión Vinotinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Zumar Yaner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erauso Mazarredo got free with Polo Oropesa in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Froylan Colomo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Polo Oropesa. The goal made the score 1-3. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Erauso Mazarredo sped through Legión Vinotinto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Polo Oropesa. In the 80th match minute, Deportivo San Cristóbal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xurde Pejuan to maneuver through the defense. Ceandro Aguirol's late challenge caught a Deportivo San Cristóbal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceandro Aguirol helped the player get up and apologised. When Xurde Pejuan fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo San Cristóbal's protests and gave Xurde Pejuan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Ceandro Aguirol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gauargi Astudillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceandro Aguirol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jordi Maeztu took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Polo Oropesa to make any attempt to save it. Deportivo San Cristóbal played a much better game than Legión Vinotinto FC and deserved their victory. The Legión Vinotinto FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
