Spectators: 8547 (Terracing: 6427, Seating: 1970, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Castel Escamilla started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Castel Escamilla sped through Legión Vinotinto FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Polo Oropesa. Ladio Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Oropesa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Castel Escamilla scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Polo Oropesa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 minutes, Peter Quijada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legión Vinotinto FC and the Avileños F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Castel Escamilla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Polo Oropesa 19 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Castel Escamilla put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Polo Oropesa. 25 minutes into the match, Avileños F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hurko Ageitos came free, but Jonas Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Polo Oropesa managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Avileños F.C.'s Gomez Guion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Polo Oropesa was a little too slow when Loco Guiles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 6-0. Castel Escamilla took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Polo Oropesa. Polo Oropesa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 47 minutes into the game, Castel Escamilla lined in a short shot 8-0 behind a frustrated Polo Oropesa. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Hurko Ageitos made the kick off in the second half. If Alessandro Monterrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Avileños F.C. booed when Legión Vinotinto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bibiano Joli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Loco Guiles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Polo Oropesa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Avileños F.C.'s Castel Escamilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Polo Oropesa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Polo Oropesa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladio Montenegro in the 61st minute of the match. Avileños F.C.'s Gomez Guion got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 65 minutes, Castel Escamilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avileños F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Castel Escamilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes, Castel Escamilla made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Legión Vinotinto FC's Polo Oropesa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladio Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Oropesa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Legión Vinotinto FC defense, Ladio Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Polo Oropesa. The Legión Vinotinto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Polo Oropesa should have stopped the shot. Gomez Guion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polo Oropesa having to interfere. Polo Oropesa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Castel Escamilla in the 89th minute of play. Castel Escamilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Polo Oropesa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Castel Escamilla ran back to his position shaking his head. When Castel Escamilla came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Avileños F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Castel Escamilla couldn't finish the play. Avileños F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
