Enol Bermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Dunixi Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desire Vidales, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Damario Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Lorden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Medardo Barzurqueta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Lorden having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Desire Vidales was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabure FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rayo Violeta FC the free kick. A collision led to Cabure FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Desire Vidales hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Medardo Barzurqueta to make the kick off. Cabure FC's Laureano Lorden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Medardo Barzurqueta in the 55th minute of play. Laureano Lorden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damario Padro in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Ovando Clarabout dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dunixi Andrade, 0-1. If Desire Vidales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cabure FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rayo Violeta FC's much stronger midfield.
