Xines Larrea hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Atlético Yare's Sixto Viñambre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Munis in the 9th minute of play. Unión de Palavecino's Niguel Lorca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Unión de Palavecino from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xines Larrea got free with Niguel Lorca in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Cirilo Munis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unión de Palavecino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Foro Rafecas in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Viñambre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilmar Loriga might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Viñambre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilmar Loriga ran back to his position shaking his head. Sixto Viñambre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Foro Rafecas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Cirilo Munis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Viñambre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Benicio Cabrera's late challenge caught a Unión de Palavecino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Cabrera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Benicio Cabrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético Yare's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Foro Rafecas scored to the left of an out of position Sixto Viñambre, making the score, 0-4. Foro Rafecas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Sixto Viñambre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Foro Rafecas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sixto Viñambre made a huge save. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Unión de Palavecino. Matias Aragon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sixto Viñambre. 0-5. Foro Rafecas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Unión de Palavecino's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Cabrera came free, but Niguel Lorca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Cirilo Munis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unión de Palavecino's Niguel Lorca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xines Larrea in the 92nd minute of play. Unión de Palavecino's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
