The supporters of Roncadores booed when Nueva Esparta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dei Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Briñas in the 78th minute of play forced Roncadores's goalkeeper Mikeldi Pulido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benicio Tapia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnalt Recio went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Roncadores eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
