Spectators: 8495 (Terracing: 6372, Seating: 1954, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christiano Mayorga got the match started through his kick off. Goncalve Lardero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Briñas in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Nueva Esparta FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dei Benavides hit a great ball. In the 11th minute of the match, Rumaldo Tascon sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Benicio Tapia showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Benicio Tapia came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabimas F.C 2.0's Rumaldo Tascon. But to his dismay, Rumaldo Tascon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Goncalve Lardero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Briñas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Elpidio Briñas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nueva Esparta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Benicio Tapia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artaldo Acaron, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Christiano Mayorga put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benicio Tapia. In the 34th match minute, Nueva Esparta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Briñas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Rumaldo Tascon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Tapia. That made the score 4-1 in the 35 minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Severino Armiñan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Goncalve Lardero. Cabimas F.C 2.0's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Armiñan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 46th minute, Wilfredo Alamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-2 at half-time.

Christiano Mayorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benicio Tapia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Christiano Mayorga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Tapia. Nueva Esparta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christiano Mayorga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. In the 65th minute Christiano Mayorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Tapia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benicio Tapia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Mayorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veronica Ingueros kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rumaldo Tascon in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Tapia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benicio Tapia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Mayorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Nueva Esparta FC defense, Christiano Mayorga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Tapia. The Nueva Esparta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Tapia should have stopped the shot. Severino Armiñan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
