The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Agostinho Casuso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rayo Violeta FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Agostinho Casuso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rayo Violeta FC! In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Miranda Leopardos Fc. Iigo Irizarry stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dunixi Andrade. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benedicto Llanes was the one to do the kick off. Medardo Barzurqueta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedicto Llanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dunixi Andrade having to interfere. Miranda Leopardos Fc's Benedicto Llanes got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedicto Llanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dunixi Andrade having to interfere. Benedicto Llanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dunixi Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rayo Violeta FC's goalkeeper Dunixi Andrade, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Enol Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miranda Leopardos Fc's attentive Urtzi Obina managed to snatch the ball when Ariel Cores made a throw-in in the 99th minute of the game. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rayo Violeta FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Miranda Leopardos Fc for much of the match.
