In the 17th minute, Wilfredo Alamon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veronica Ingueros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Llanes in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Tapia saved Nueva Esparta FC from getting behind. Raymon Trielles took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benicio Tapia. Benicio Tapia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Benedicto Llanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severino Armiñan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Benicio Tapia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedicto Llanes went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Benedicto Llanes made the kick off in the second half. Benicio Tapia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymon Trielles, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Pierres Ojea shot from long distance in the 53rd minute, but Benicio Tapia was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Nueva Esparta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Llanes came free, but Benicio Tapia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Severino Armiñan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes, Serapio Lebrija mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miranda Leopardos Fc and the Nueva Esparta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Nueva Esparta FC booed when Miranda Leopardos Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serapio Lebrija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Llanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benicio Tapia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Miranda Leopardos Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
