Víktor de Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atauri Segurola, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, Michel Artadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Oliverio Jubera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Liga Nacional and the CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oliverio Jubera hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Elpidio Naveros fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Liga Nacional's protests and gave Elpidio Naveros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ booed when UD Liga Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Naveros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, UD Liga Nacional's Fidele Paris got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Jacek Solibieda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacek Solibieda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³'s Víktor de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Americo Burgueño was the one to do the kick off. Atauri Segurola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Víktor de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Burgueño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Víktor de Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Jacek Solibieda could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Xamo Pozo however easily saved by the left post. CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³'s Sandalio Mocellar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Xamo Pozo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 83rd minute, Jacek Solibieda made a precise shot to the right of Xamo Pozo. UD Liga Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Víktor de Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Burgueño in the 87th minute of play. Jacek Solibieda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Atauri Segurola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over UD Liga Nacional's much stronger midfield.
