In the 11th match minute, UD Liga Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josias Acha to maneuver through the defense. Ulisses Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Burgueño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the game, Boinas Verdes Fc's Reşat Ongay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Americo Burgueño made a kick off. José Pedro Paraense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xamo Pozo having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Pedro Paraense in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xamo Pozo saved UD Liga Nacional from getting behind. Jaunti Liviano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the UD Liga Nacional defense, José Pedro Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Pozo. The UD Liga Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Pozo should have stopped the shot. Reşat Ongay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Xamo Pozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Paraense in the 65th minute of play forced UD Liga Nacional's goalkeeper Xamo Pozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Reşat Ongay got free in front of the goal in the 67th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Xamo Pozo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Boinas Verdes Fc's Ulisses Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atauri Segurola in the 70th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Mathias Bannerhøj made it 9-0 with a short kick to the right side. UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that José Pedro Paraense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xamo Pozo was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
