With splendid footwork Jacek Solibieda arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 17th minute. Michel Artadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Aitor Barbanera made a huge save. Yelle Steuckens's late challenge caught a Estapapes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yelle Steuckens helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³'s Yelle Steuckens got a free kick in the 26th minute. Sandalio Mocellar struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Aitor Barbanera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Jacome got free with Aitor Barbanera in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Jacek Solibieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Thodoris Matsas hit a great ball. Estapapes FC's Larpe Arrateguibel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³. Jacek Solibieda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Furtado Arenchen made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Furtado Arenchen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estapapes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Furtado Arenchen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Estapapes FC's zone, Jacek Solibieda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aitor Barbanera came out of the goal and Jacek Solibieda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Sandalio Mocellar made a precise shot to the right of Aitor Barbanera. Estapapes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Guipuzkoa Castilla struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Víktor de Salles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estapapes FC. Víktor de Salles made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gagriel Gurbista sent off a good shot on target. In the 68th minute, Pastor Jacome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furtado Arenchen in the 69th minute of play forced CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³'s goalkeeper Víktor de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anton Moral came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Estapapes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Moral couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Sandalio Mocellar made a precise shot to the right of Aitor Barbanera. Estapapes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 86th match minute, CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Matsas to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Larpe Arrateguibel was slow to take the kick. During this time Estapapes FC's players had a chance to rest. When Thodoris Matsas fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³'s protests and gave Thodoris Matsas a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes CF RUBÍN ᴳ⁸³ got a freekick which was hit by Thodoris Matsas. In the 96th minute of the match, Furtado Arenchen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Víktor de Salles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Estapapes FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
