Samuel Valente made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Americo Burgueño sent off a good shot on target. Gotzon Arrazola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xamo Pozo having to make a save. A collision led to UD Liga Nacional getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Antonio Hermo hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Sauata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otoniel Cenal to maneuver through the defense. Sauata's Samuel Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atauri Segurola in the 15th minute of play. UD Liga Nacional's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kimetz Padro in the 17th minute. It was a well-played corner which Americo Burgueño managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Viator Ripalta hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Samuel Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atauri Segurola in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ticho Valli during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sauata booed when UD Liga Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ticho Valli didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fraco Rozano in the 25th minute of play forced UD Liga Nacional's goalkeeper Xamo Pozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gotzon Arrazola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gotzon Arrazola in the 30th minute of play forced UD Liga Nacional's goalkeeper Xamo Pozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sauata's Gotzon Arrazola got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gotzon Arrazola took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, Fraco Rozano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute Fraco Rozano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamo Pozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Sauata were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

UD Liga Nacional's Atauri Segurola got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gotzon Arrazola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauata's supporters rose to their feet, but Gotzon Arrazola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xamo Pozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gotzon Arrazola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Gotzon Arrazola notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute Atauri Segurola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 邱明德 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xamo Pozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josias Acha kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Xamo Pozo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gotzon Arrazola showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 84 minute of play. Gotzon Arrazola struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Xamo Pozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauata. In the 92nd match minute, UD Liga Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ticho Valli to maneuver through the defense. Sauata's Fraco Rozano got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Canado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Pozo having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sauata eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
