The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernat Lomelin got free with Eleazar Ecija in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervasio Balbas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Bernat Lomelin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleazar Ecija came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernat Lomelin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Clodoveo Pi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Lisandro Cortadelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ellande Ahedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Kauldi Cortina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ellande Ahedo was the one to do the kick off. Deportivo Aurinegro FC's Eleazar Ecija played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauldi Cortina in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Leizarraga Afraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Venezuela XO's supporters rose to their feet, but Leizarraga Afraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleazar Ecija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Deportivo Aurinegro FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Cortadelles. Ellande Ahedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gauargi Buruaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Racing Venezuela XO getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Clodoveo Pi hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the game, Ellande Ahedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Aurinegro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Venezuela XO the free kick. Vela Mudarra hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Venezuela XO's zone, Ellande Ahedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gauargi Buruaga came out of the goal and Ellande Ahedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Racing Venezuela XO booed when Deportivo Aurinegro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Naveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 97 minutes on the clock, Gomesano Bergas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Deportivo Aurinegro FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Deportivo Aurinegro FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
