After a rather tough play, Escualidos FC's Stanislao Pernau got a free kick in the 16th minute. Pirmin Abeijon hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Fernanco Palomares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Segio Burriaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eder Casares having to interfere. 27 minutes in the game, Gerardo Malo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maureo Izcaray having to interfere. Fernanco Palomares kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Fernanco Palomares might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maureo Izcaray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernanco Palomares ran back to his position shaking his head. If Fernanco Palomares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute of the match, Fernanco Palomares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maureo Izcaray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maureo Izcaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Malo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Escualidos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Bilbao were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernanco Palomares was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Escualidos FC's Fernanco Palomares got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Segio Burriaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Eder Casares guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The FC Bilbao players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
