Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Racing Venezuela XO's Gauargi Buruaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Venezuela XO from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Racing Venezuela XO's goal looked a bit too open when Estevao Barrachina came free, but Gauargi Buruaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Somarriba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gauargi Buruaga. Racing Venezuela XO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Somarriba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in The Americans's zone, Kauldi Cortina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garcia Olivan came out of the goal and Kauldi Cortina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garcia Olivan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauldi Cortina in the 29th minute of the match. When Ildefonso Somarriba came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the The Americans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Somarriba couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as The Americans's Estevao Barrachina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gauargi Buruaga. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. If Bernat Lomelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Somarriba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Cisquella during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, The Americans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Cisquella to maneuver through the defense. When Melchazadec Burriaga fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Venezuela XO's protests and gave Melchazadec Burriaga a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Obeko Vara during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Racing Venezuela XO booed when The Americans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Obeko Vara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgilio Carda kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Bernat Lomelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garcia Olivan having to interfere. Bernat Lomelin got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Garcia Olivan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Racing Venezuela XO's Kauldi Cortina got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kauldi Cortina was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Racing Venezuela XO's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Racing Venezuela XO's Gauargi Buruaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Somarriba in the 76th minute of play. Ildefonso Somarriba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauargi Buruaga having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Melchazadec Burriaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, The Americans's Estevao Barrachina tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Obeko Vara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gauargi Buruaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Somarriba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kauldi Cortina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Garcia Olivan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Americans walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
