Isauro Lope charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isauro Lope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Racing Venezuela XO's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Carda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maureo Izcaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kauldi Cortina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renaldo Madinabeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gauargi Buruaga having to interfere. Gauargi Buruaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isauro Lope in the 57th minute of the match. Gauargi Buruaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segio Burriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gauargi Buruaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segio Burriaga in the 60th minute of play. Leizarraga Afraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maureo Izcaray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segio Burriaga during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Segio Burriaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gauargi Buruaga came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bilbao's Isauro Lope. But to his dismay, Isauro Lope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Virgilio Carda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gauargi Buruaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segio Burriaga in the 83rd minute of the match. Gauargi Buruaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erruki Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute Kauldi Cortina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maureo Izcaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Renaldo Madinabeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
