The referee ignored Deportivo Aurinegro FC's protests and gave Ellande Ahedo a yellow card for diving instead. Estevao Barrachina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleazar Ecija having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Aurinegro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Estevao Barrachina came free, but Eleazar Ecija reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Estevao Barrachina took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Eleazar Ecija to make any attempt to save it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Estevao Barrachina was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Estevao Barrachina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleazar Ecija was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After 87 minutes of play Deportivo Aurinegro FC's Ellande Ahedo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of The Americans booed when Deportivo Aurinegro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ellande Ahedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Somarriba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleazar Ecija was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Ildefonso Somarriba kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Americans had played much better football throughout.
