In the 11th minute, Henrique Naveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Lewandowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellande Ahedo in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Ellande Ahedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Lewandowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleazar Ecija showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zenon Echavarria, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Modesto Veragua made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Aurinegro FC's Ugaitz Cayuso. Ellande Ahedo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zenon Echavarria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eleazar Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ellande Ahedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Aurinegro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ellande Ahedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Lewandowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pacorro Peciña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Lewandowski having to interfere. Ellande Ahedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Lewandowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Henrique Naveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ellande Ahedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Lewandowski was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zenon Echavarria to make the kick off. Eleazar Ecija breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Real Anzoategui SC's Firmo Rosinos got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Deportivo Aurinegro FC's Ellande Ahedo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zenon Echavarria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eleazar Ecija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Aurinegro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
