The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mikelar Crisol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oso Guilizasti having to interfere. Mikelar Crisol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DarKside United's Oso Guilizasti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omero Caraballo in the 15th minute of play. Oso Guilizasti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikelar Crisol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikelar Crisol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Oso Guilizasti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xusto Diestro charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xusto Diestro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Guigue getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Xusto Diestro hit a great ball. Oso Guilizasti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikelar Crisol in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute Omero Caraballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oso Guilizasti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mikelar Crisol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Omero Caraballo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Guigue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omero Caraballo couldn't finish the play. Oso Guilizasti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikelar Crisol in the 72nd minute of play. Bonifaco Pangua's late challenge caught a DarKside United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifaco Pangua helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Bonifaco Pangua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Guigue walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
