The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Brandon Gambin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nereo Herezuelo. Antonio Olozagoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brandon Gambin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Brandon Gambin made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Herezuelo. Mapire FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nereo Herezuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Olozagoitia in the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brandon Gambin got free with Nereo Herezuelo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonio Olozagoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christiano Zaitegui came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mapire FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Zaitegui couldn't finish the play. Brandon Gambin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nereo Herezuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Culebreros Unidos booed when Mapire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christiano Zaitegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Brandon Gambin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Herezuelo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. The supporters of Culebreros Unidos booed when Mapire FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomone Barrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Brandon Gambin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Herezuelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Brandon Gambins short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Nereo Herezuelo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christiano Zaitegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynardo Rubin having to interfere. Brandon Gambin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nereo Herezuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brandon Gambin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Antonio Olozagoitia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Culebreros Unidos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Antonio Olozagoitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Brandon Gambin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nereo Herezuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brandon Gambin's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Argina Ucero notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Culebreros Unidos's Reynardo Rubin. Reynardo Rubin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nereo Herezuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Ben Ahmed Mohammadnezadjaneh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Mapire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon Gambin came free, but Nereo Herezuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mapire FC's Nereo Herezuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Gambin in the 79th minute of play. Brandon Gambin might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Herezuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brandon Gambin ran back to his position shaking his head. Nereo Herezuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Gambin in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Brandon Gambin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Herezuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nereo Herezuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Gambin in the 95th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Brandon Gambin sped through Mapire FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nereo Herezuelo.
