Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Valenciaga to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Conrao Abendaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Argider Galaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xinaro Cabo's late challenge caught a Albaricales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chants of TITANIUM RE echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Albaricales had held the ball for most of the match.
