Jan-Ivar Løvaas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Guinea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Benicio Pico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cuartio Barrillos in the 13th minute of play forced CD Sirio Libanés's goalkeeper Cristo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cuartio Barrillos, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Francisco Feyjo's late challenge caught a AJ Juventus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Feyjo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CD Sirio Libanés's Francisco Feyjo got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelio Carro in the 20th minute of play forced CD Sirio Libanés's goalkeeper Cristo Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes AJ Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Tximitx Larren. Fausto Cosmen took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Souto. Cristo Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 27 minutes, Romelio Carro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AJ Juventus FC and the CD Sirio Libanés players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benicio Pico hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Fausto Cosmen came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the AJ Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Cosmen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Guinea in the 45th minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Jan-Ivar Løvaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pirmin Mobilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romelio Carro to make the kick off. Romelio Carro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Souto having to interfere. Jimeno Guinea scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Ivar Løvaas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Fausto Cosmen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristo Souto, 2-2. 64 minutes into the match, CD Sirio Libanés's goalkeeper Cristo Souto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cuartio Barrillos. Cristo Souto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romelio Carro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th minute, CD Sirio Libanés's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romelio Carro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The nice shot from Cuartio Barrillos in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cristo Souto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Cristo Souto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cuartio Barrillos in the 77th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cuartio Barrillos got free with Cristo Souto in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristo Souto made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Benicio Pico sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in AJ Juventus FC's zone, Jimeno Guinea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Ivar Løvaas came out of the goal and Jimeno Guinea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The CD Sirio Libanés supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AJ Juventus FC's performance. The match ended with a win for AJ Juventus FC.
