Elvio Monsagrati's late challenge caught a Mapire FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Monsagrati helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mapire FC booed when Ruquere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Monsagrati didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mapire FC's zone, Estefan Becerra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Herezuelo came out of the goal and Estefan Becerra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nacho Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Herezuelo having to interfere. When Estefan Becerra came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ruquere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Estefan Becerra couldn't finish the play. Quintino Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nereo Herezuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nacho Estevez in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Herezuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Nacho Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruquere's supporters rose to their feet, but Nacho Estevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Herezuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mapire FC booed when Ruquere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuban Benavente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruquere's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
