Deportivo Nirgua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Amor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Cañarte got free with Camilo Escudero in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ikatz Mera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ignacio Cañarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Cecilio Morales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Altos de Caruno's Godfried Van Gertsuyden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ikatz Mera in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ikatz Mera was the one to do the kick off. Godfried Van Gertsuyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Morales in the 52nd minute of play. Camilo Escudero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Amor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Deportivo Altos de Caruno's goalkeeper Godfried Van Gertsuyden had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ikatz Mera. In the 66thth minute of the game Feliciano Amor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Nirgua FC's Camilo Escudero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Cecilio Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Nirgua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ikatz Mera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfried Van Gertsuyden having to interfere. Ignacio Cañarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Velez hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Berdaitz Mandelo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Feliciano Amor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Escudero was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Amor in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Escudero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Feliciano Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Altos de Caruno's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
