Anselmo Greña was slow to take the kick. During this time Alianza FC's players had a chance to rest. Orkatz Remolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bento Chandeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute Bento Chandeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkatz Remolino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aioros FC's attentive Mai Cheng Zhen managed to snatch the ball when Anselmo Greña made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Orkatz Remolino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bento Chandeiro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Marin Ciprian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aioros FC's Beat Vid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Greña made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aioros FC's Mai Cheng Zhen. Bento Chandeiro took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orkatz Remolino. Orkatz Remolino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza FC's goalkeeper Orkatz Remolino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Aioros FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bento Chandeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Goya in the 52nd minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bento Chandeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orkatz Remolino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bento Chandeiro ran back to his position shaking his head.
