Gorka Astola started the match with the kick off. Yiyo Cianca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Sesuldo Teijelo got control of the ball when Marin Ciprian tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yiyo Cianca hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hever Zapatero in the 21st minute of play forced Alianza FC's goalkeeper Orkatz Remolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orkatz Remolino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gorka Astola's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Marin Ciprian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rojelio Carrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Hever Zapatero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orkatz Remolino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gorka Astola in the 30th minute of play forced Alianza FC's goalkeeper Orkatz Remolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orkatz Remolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rojelio Carrera in the 31st minute of the match. Orkatz Remolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hever Zapatero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Sesuldo Teijelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Alianza FC's Yiyo Cianca got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marin Ciprian to make the kick off. Marin Ciprian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sesuldo Teijelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Sesuldo Teijelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Ciprian in the 54th minute of the match. Gorka Astola did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Orkatz Remolino 58 minutes into the match. Unikurdos United F.C. made a substitution. Ortzi Goxenola replaced Hever Zapatero. After a rather tough play, Unikurdos United F.C.'s Marco Solo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Alianza FC made a substitution. César Domingues replaced Marin Ciprian. A collision led to Unikurdos United F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marco Solo hit a great ball. In the 66th minute César Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sesuldo Teijelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Unikurdos United F.C.'s zone, César Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sesuldo Teijelo came out of the goal and César Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Domingues in the 74th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Sesuldo Teijelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, César Domingues notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Unikurdos United F.C.'s Sesuldo Teijelo. Sesuldo Teijelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Unikurdos United F.C.'s Joaquin Champ was substituted for Gorka Astola. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Aimar in the 84th minute of play forced Unikurdos United F.C.'s goalkeeper Sesuldo Teijelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Alianza FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Fribäck fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leopoldo Aimar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes, Daniel Fribäck made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Alianza FC's Orkatz Remolino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Despite being the better team, Unikurdos United F.C. failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
