An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Ciprian in the 2nd minute of play forced Deportivo Nirgua FC's goalkeeper Camilo Escudero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reno Chavarria went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Deportivo Nirgua FC's goalie and right to Yiyo Cianca. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Deportivo Nirgua FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Baran Gayret managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Gayret was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Escudero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nofre Estany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaunti Liviano in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Ciprian in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo Nirgua FC's goalkeeper Camilo Escudero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Escudero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Ciprian, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The corner led Alianza FC's Yiyo Cianca to fire away a dangerous shot which Camilo Escudero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Alianza FC's Yiyo Cianca in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Camilo Escudero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yiyo Cianca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Escudero having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Anselmo Greña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alianza FC and the Deportivo Nirgua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Alianza FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Anselmo Greña hit a great ball. Long Jian Le was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 31 minutes into the match. Alianza FC made a substitution. Júnior Arruda replaced Marin Ciprian. 31 minutes into the game, one of Alianza FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 39 minutes into the game, Baran Gayret recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Escudero. Baran Gayret showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Yiyo Cianca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Escudero having to interfere. Xusto Algarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nofre Estany having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baran Gayret stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alianza FC's Yiyo Cianca got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Escudero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Yiyo Cianca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Rony Rüşti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Escudero was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Camilo Escudero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Alianza FC's Yiyo Cianca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Escudero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 68 minutes into the game, Alianza FC's Rony Rüşti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Escudero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yiyo Cianca's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Yiyo Cianca might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Escudero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yiyo Cianca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute Yiyo Cianca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Escudero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiyo Cianca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baran Gayret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee ended the match the Alianza FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
