Noah Daley hit a great ball. With a little luck, New River FC's Craig Gillespie got control of the ball when Winston Stearns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kirk Gifford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from J.P. Lawson went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the match, Chelan's goal looked a bit too open when Noah Daley came free, but Kirk Gifford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When New River FC's Noah Daley in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelan's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th minute, George Mann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of New River FC booed when Chelan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Mann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noah Daley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kirk Gifford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute New River FC were awarded a corner. Noah Daley went to the cornerflag to take it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Mann to make the kick off. A collision led to New River FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Donovan Joseph hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachery Espinoza during the 56th minute. In the 65th minute, Noah Daley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kirk Gifford. The goal made the score 0-3. New River FC's J.P. Lawson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rufus Rosario, made in the 68th minute of the game. J.P. Lawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kirk Gifford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donovan Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When J.P. Lawson fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New River FC's protests and gave J.P. Lawson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, J.P. Lawson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New River FC's Donovan Joseph quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Orville Summers, made in the 83rd minute of the game. Kirk Gifford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donovan Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chelan's Kirk Gifford got control of the ball when Noah Daley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Craig Gillespie came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chelan's George Mann. But to his dismay, George Mann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. George Mann's late challenge caught a New River FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Mann helped the player get up and apologised. George Mann hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the match was over New River FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chelan throughout the match.
