Gary Mims tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Lucas Fisher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fellsmere AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Fisher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fair Lawn AFC's Thaddeus Rader got a free kick in the 21st minute. Homer Gibbons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gary Mims tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes, Adrian Whitten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fellsmere AFC and the Fair Lawn AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fellsmere AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Adrian Whitten hit a great ball. When Marc Garland came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fair Lawn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Garland couldn't finish the play. In the 30thth minute of the game Lucas Fisher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fair Lawn AFC's Gary Mims was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Homer Gibbons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Homer Gibbons got free with Gary Mims in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Homer Gibbons came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gary Mims could save by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dane Urbina was the one to do the kick off. Gary Mims showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Fisher, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 62nd minute, Fellsmere AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dane Urbina fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to Fellsmere AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alonzo Vickers hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Fellsmere AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dane Urbina came free, but Houston Alvarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67thth minute of the game Lucas Fisher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fair Lawn AFC's Gary Mims was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Homer Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leroy Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Lucas Fisher notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fair Lawn AFC's Gary Mims. Gary Mims was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gary Mims made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Gibbons in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Fair Lawn AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Kip Stewart hit a great ball. Rodger Pittman kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fair Lawn AFC's Rodger Pittman got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Homer Gibbons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fellsmere AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Homer Gibbons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Homer Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fair Lawn AFC's zone, Homer Gibbons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gary Mims came out of the goal and Homer Gibbons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fellsmere AFC booed when Fair Lawn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodger Pittman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Homer Gibbons in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gary Mims saved Fair Lawn AFC from getting behind.
