Spectators: 5709 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Derick Carr got the match started through his kick off. Brad Smallwood charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brad Smallwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Muskogee AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Brad Smallwood hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Trent Roth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muskogee AFC's goalkeeper Kenny Sherman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Edmundo Snider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Sherman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Gary Douglas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spencer Jacobs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kenny Sherman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Feather Sound AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Lowry to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Brandon struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Steven Sims didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muskogee AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Gary Douglas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feather Sound AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gary Douglas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Sherman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Muskogee AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Trent Roth hit a great ball. Dario Forbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Spencer Jacobs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Feather Sound AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Spencer Jacobs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lincoln Parham during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, one of Feather Sound AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Feather Sound AFC. Jaime McGee struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Kenny Sherman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feather Sound AFC. Gary Douglas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Muskogee AFC's Kenny Sherman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Douglas in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Feather Sound AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Spencer Jacobs hit a great ball. Steven Sims made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Lorenzo Brandon sent off a good shot on target. Brad Smallwood hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Kenny Sherman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Spencer Jacobs in the 88th minute of play. When Trent Roth fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muskogee AFC's protests and gave Trent Roth a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Muskogee AFC got a freekick which was hit by Trent Roth. The audience was convinced that Frankie Oliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenny Sherman was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Gary Douglas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Feather Sound AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
