A collision led to Mexico AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Carson Grady hit a great ball. If Bart Aragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Lyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trent Roth's late challenge caught a Mexico AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trent Roth helped the player get up and apologised. If Ignacio Lyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Aragon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kenny Sherman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignacio Lyle in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Derick Carr was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kenny Sherman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Muskogee AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Lyle came free, but Kenny Sherman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart Aragon scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenny Sherman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Lyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Lyle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenny Sherman was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Kenny Sherman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Lyle in the 75th minute of play. Muskogee AFC's Kenny Sherman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Lyle in the 84th minute of play. Shane Groom made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lorenzo Brandon sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Muskogee AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Lyle came free, but Kenny Sherman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
