If Köksal Erek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute Ignacy Kornecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nolan McHugh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nolan McHugh. Eleuterio Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. MONTERREY's Köksal Erek was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 25th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Köksal Erek in the 30th minute of play forced Tyrone's goalkeeper Nolan McHugh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitchell Hopson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Nolan McHugh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MONTERREY had played much better football throughout.
