Vernon Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graig Dawson in the 20th minute of play. Graig Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfred Benson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Cameron Judd sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richie Montgomery skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Cashmere FC's Ronny Corcoran got a free kick in the 30th minute. A hard shot by Rolando Walden from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Vernon Berger's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Nathan Kern came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cashmere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nathan Kern couldn't finish the play. Charles Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Oliver Hawley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vernon Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Cashmere FC's goal looked a bit too open when Graig Dawson came free, but Vernon Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Oliver Hawley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Hawley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nathan Kern scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richie Montgomery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

After 55 minutes of play, Plano AFC's Oliver Hawley made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vernon Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Oliver Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richie Montgomery didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Blanton went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the match, Plano AFC's Oliver Hawley sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vernon Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Oliver Hawley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vernon Berger. Plano AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Graig Dawson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vernon Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Oliver Hawley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Graig Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Charles Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vernon Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vernon Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graig Dawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Wilfred Benson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vernon Berger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Graig Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vernon Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Blanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richie Montgomery having to interfere. Richie Montgomery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Kern in the 90th minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Plano AFC's Charles Lopez made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vernon Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Plano AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
