Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Santo Rainey got the match started through his kick off. Ben Alfaro made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Sid Egan sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Rainey in the 6th minute of play forced Berwyn AFC's goalkeeper Ben Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Santo Rainey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Berwyn AFC's Ben Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Rainey in the 17th minute of play. Sid Egan let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 18th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 24thth minute of the game Micah Herron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rubidoux AFC's Brant Larsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 28 played minutes Berwyn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marlon Castle. After recieving a nice pass, Rubidoux AFC's Stanton Woodall tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tyrone Adair hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes in the game, Sid Egan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Sid Egan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tyrone Adair hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Rubidoux AFC's Santo Rainey got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Berwyn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Rainey came free, but Ben Alfaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Micah Herron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ben Alfaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Rainey's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Micah Herron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sid Egan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rubidoux AFC's Sid Egan in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berwyn AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Berwyn AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rubidoux AFC the free kick. In the 76th match minute, Berwyn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Colvin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Rainey in the 77th minute of play forced Berwyn AFC's goalkeeper Ben Alfaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Rodney Dunbar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berwyn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodney Dunbar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Berwyn AFC's Ronnie Tobin got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 93rd minute Santo Rainey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Rubidoux AFC were the better team. Rubidoux AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
