Rodger Marino hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Cole Bolton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nathan Moran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14thth minute of the game Blair Hardin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but South Euclid's Jonathan Hutchins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cohen FC's Nathan Moran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roscoe Handy in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Charlton Cantrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Euclid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlton Cantrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Roscoe Handy sped through Cohen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nathan Moran. In the 24th match minute, South Euclid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Caballero to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Hutchins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwood Kendrick in the 26th minute of play. Roscoe Handy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathan Moran having to make a save. In the 31st minute Roscoe Handy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Moran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. South Euclid's Roger Caballero got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Roger Caballero off the ground. In the 40th minute, Charlton Cantrell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Euclid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Nathan Moran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlton Cantrell in the 44th minute. If Blair Hardin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blair Hardin was the one to do the kick off. Jeff Harrington lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of South Euclid:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cohen FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 54 minutes, Cohen FC's Hector Stearns got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jonathan Hutchins. Roscoe Handy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Roscoe Handy fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored South Euclid's protests and gave Roscoe Handy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to South Euclid getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Roscoe Handy hit a great ball. Cole Bolton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Hardin in the 74th minute of play forced South Euclid's goalkeeper Jonathan Hutchins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan Rhodess short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Jonathan Hutchins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 79 minutes, Cole Bolton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the South Euclid and the Cohen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to South Euclid getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cole Bolton hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cohen FC's Milan Rhodes got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Blair Hardin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Hutchins saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nathan Moran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cole Bolton, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cohen FC's Blair Hardin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Hutchins. That made the score 3-2 after 90 minutes of play. Roscoe Handy struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Nathan Moran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Euclid. South Euclid walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
