Spectators: 7414 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 40) Timothy Waters made the kick off and thus started the match. Jack Roy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Warren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Hardin got a freekick which was hit by Joesph Mosley. Sandy Harman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Byron Schaefer. Hardin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Timothy Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hardin's Dave Gifford got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to South Valley Stream getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Milo Benjamin hit a great ball. If Timothy Waters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Timothy Waters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Valley Stream's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timothy Waters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hardin's Byron Schaefer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudy Hopper in the 27th minute of play. Tony Ham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Byron Schaefer having to interfere. Jack Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Gifford in the 33rd minute of the match. Felix Warren charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Warren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Warren kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tony Ham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

South Valley Stream's Jack Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Gifford in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, South Valley Stream's goalkeeper Jack Roy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Landon Atkinson. If Timothy Waters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Byron Schaefer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudy Hopper, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Byron Schaefer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudy Hopper in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Hopper in the 72nd minute of play forced Hardin's goalkeeper Byron Schaefer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Hardin's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Waters came free, but Byron Schaefer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timothy Waters might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Byron Schaefer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Landon Atkinson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jack Roy firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 92nd minute, Rudy Hopper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Valley Stream fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. South Valley Stream fully deserved thier win.
