Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriel McGee kicked off to start the match. Filiberto Lockwood in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Glen Bishop, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bradly Laird hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Glen Bishop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Goode in the 8th minute of play. Gabriel McGee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Quincy Looney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quincy Looney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel McGee's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel McGee in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quincy Looney saved Betla National Park from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Bergstrom in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quincy Looney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel McGee in the 17th minute of play forced Betla National Park's goalkeeper Quincy Looney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Middleton's goalkeeper Glen Bishop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Betla National Park defense, Gabriel McGee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quincy Looney. The Betla National Park fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quincy Looney should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel McGee in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quincy Looney saved Betla National Park from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Betla National Park's Jesse Dykes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Fernando Bergstrom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Gabriel McGee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quincy Looney was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Quincy Looney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Bergstrom, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Fernando Bergstrom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quincy Looney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Gabriel McGee made a precise shot to the right of Quincy Looney. Betla National Park's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 44 minutes of play, Middleton's Gabriel McGee made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quincy Looney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Albright was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Francesco Albright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glen Bishop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Filiberto Lockwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Francesco Albright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Betla National Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Francesco Albright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Glen Bishop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Quincy Looney managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Middleton's Fernando Bergstrom fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 64th minute, one of Betla National Park:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Betla National Park. Middleton's Fernando Bergstrom got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Negron kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Glenn Dickinson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Quincy Looney made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Fernando Bergstrom sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel McGee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quincy Looney having to make a save. In the 87th minute Gabriel McGee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quincy Looney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Fernando Bergstrom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Quincy Looney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Francesco Albright came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Betla National Park fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Albright couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Middleton eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
